Camera Vault: Minor Update

February 26th, 2010 admin No comments

There will soon be a minor update for Camera Vault that will resolve some user interface display issues and fine-tune a few other processes.  Look for it to be on the App Store as an update soon!

What are we working on behind all the smoke and mirrors?  Multiple image import, a whole new camera, and a new geo-view, among other things.  How soon can we roll these new features out?  Sadly, I don’t know quite yet, but we’re optimistic it will be before next year!  (That’s a joke.)

Thanks for everyone’s support!

Camera Vault v2.0 Released

February 10th, 2010 admin No comments

As users may by now know, the 2.0 version of Camera Vault has been released as an upgrade.  This is a big update from the last version with the main goal of supporting folders and image organization.

With Camera Vault 2.0, users can create and delete folders from a new screen dedicated to managing folders.  Adding a folder from this new screen is simple: simply press the “+” button in the top right of the screen.  Each folder defaults as a private folder, but individual folders can be made public by adjusting a switch visible while in edit mode.  If a passcode is set, only the public folders can be opened unless the passcode has been entered.  However, if all folders are marked as private, Camera Vault works as it always has and prompts users immediately to enter the passcode.

Once folders are created, images can be added to them by importing directly into them, by taking pictures while in a folder, or by using the “Move” action added to the top of the actions list.  This “Move” action allows users to select multiple images and move them to a new folder.
